Emily Fortier is a young artist located in northern Rhode Island and a recent graduate from Massachusetts College of Art and Design, where she got her BFA degree in Fine Arts 3D.  Traditionally a potter and woodworker, she lost access to her kilns and equipment due to COVID-19, and has since experimented with acrylic painting to expel creative energy.

Her most recent work captures the tender emotions of yearning and melancholy that accompany the final days of summer.
